A GENERAL CONSENSUS
I've spent the better half of my spring semester researching my essential question and justifying its overall importance. Over and over I found myself wondering how I could answer these questions through the data on my final website:
And lastly:
- How can I prove that writers matter aside from what is already obvious to others?
- How do I combat the arguments that writers are either less important than scientists, mathematicians and engineers or are completely irrelevant to the current standing of modern society?
- Do teenagers genuinely not care about the world of literature, or am I just not giving enough credit to the interests of my peers?
- What benefits could a life enriched with sophisticated writing and reading give to current generations and generations of the future?
- What defines a writer? More specifically, what defines an important writer?
And lastly:
- How do I know that someday I, too, will make a difference with the work I share with the world?
